Wild Mile Woodworks is a full service timber frame shop offering design services as well as milling, and joinery.

Since 1998, Wild Mile Woodworks has offered timber frame home construction from its Bigfork shop in Northwest Montana. Shop-built timberframe projects have been installed on the grid and off the grid in locations across Montana, Wyoming, Washington, British Columbia and Alberta. Wild Mile Woodworks offers new home design and construction, and timberframe construction, as well as historic structure renovation. Notable projects include restoration work on the Glacier Park Lodge in East Glacier.

More than 100 years ago, immense Douglas Fir logs were brought to East Glacier by train from the Pacific Northwest to build the "Big Tree Lodge". Now, more than one hundred years later, the time has come for some of these original giants to be replaced.
